Information

What gear/equipment do I need for training?

To get the most out of training but to also train safely, it's really important to have the right gear for the classes. Below is some information on what is needed:

Adult & Teens should wear a mouthguard in any of the classes on the schedule

BJJ (Gi classes) - all members (who train in BJJ) will need their own Gi and belt for training. We advise students to wear rash guards underneath their Gi's as this provides additional protection against bruising and bacteria.

BJJ (No Gi classes) & Wrestling - A rash guard and spats (compression top/leggings) and/or shorts should be worn for No Gi training (must not have pockets)

Boxing / Muay Thai - Standard gym clothing can be worn for the boxing classes however students must have their own gloves. Adults & teens will need to have a mouthguard and headgear which HAS to be worn during sparring.

MMA - As MMA has the element of grappling students should wear the same type of clothing as worn in the No Gi classes. MMA gloves, mouthguard, shin guards will also be needed.
